Paul Wayne Hurst, 60, of Van Buren died Monday, April 17,2000 in a local hospital.
He was a member and elder of Van Buren First Presbyterian Church, a Navy veteran, a member of the Van Buren Chamber of Commerce and the Concord Water Board. He was a graduate of Arkansas Tech University, the former owner of People's Warehouse in Van Buren and was self employed as a real estate agent.
He was survived by his wife, Mary Jane Hurst; two daughters, Carissa Anawaty and Shannon Bates, both of Van Buren.; his parents, Paul and Lee Mae Hurst of Van Buren; one sister, Linda Frey of Fort Smith; one brother, Dr. Michael Hurst of Van Buren; and three grandchildren.
