Sherman Lester Hopwood, 83, of Van Buren, AR passed away October 21st.
He was born November 25, 1935 in Okemah, OK.

Sherman was a longtime member of the Rena Road Church of Christ and a retired meat inspector with the USDA for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Frankie Lou Hopwood.

He is survived by one son, Lester Frank Hopwood of Van Buren; one daughter, Rozan Oliver of Fort Smith; one brother, Howard Hopwood of Edmond, OK; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Sherman loved to hunt and fish. He also loved gardening, woodworking and enjoying nature.

Funeral Service will be 10 am Friday, October 25th at Lewis Funeral Chapel 4817 Kelley Hwy, Fort Smith, AR with Interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, AR

Frankie Lou Hopwood, 84, of Van Buren passed away Friday, April 5,2019.
She was born June 6, 1934 in Mulberry, Arkansas.

Frankie was a longtime member of the Rena Road Church Of Christ and retired cook at Van Buren High School.
She enjoyed gardening and cooking.

She is survived by Sherman: her one true love of 65 years: one son Lester Frank Hopwood of Van Buren: one daughter Rozan Oliver of Ft. Smith: one brother Jimmy Hicks of Kibler: five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
