Kenneth C. Hon, 90, of Van Buren died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, in a local hospital. He was a retired Whirlpool quality control supervisor and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Europe, and a 32nd degree Mason. He was a member and past master of the Evansville, Ind., Masonic Lodge and a member of the American Legion. He was the son of George and Dora Hon, grandson of Lewis and Mary Ellen Hunsinger Hon.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren with military honors.

He is survived by his wife, Aletha of the home; two sons, Tom Hon of Van Buren and Bill Hon and wife Shawn of Van Buren; and two granddaughters, Kelly Hon and Amy Farquhar and husband Justin, all of Van Buren.

Pallbearers were be Bill Hon, John Hon, Justin Farquhar, Jim Lockhart, Bob Dahlan and Ronnie Blasingame.

Aletha L. Hon, 91 of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 in a local nursing home.

She was a homemaker; a member of Heritage United Methodist Church in Van Buren and the Crawford County Art Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hon; one son, Thomas Hon.

She is survived by one son, Bill Hon & wife, Shawn of Van Buren; two granddaughters, Amy Farquhar & husband, Justin of Van Buren, Kelly Hon of Fayetteville.

Funeral service will be Friday, February 22nd, 2013, 10:00am at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with Pastor Max Goins officiating.
Burial will be at Gracelawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bill Hon, Justin Farquhar, Darrell Farquhar, Ronnie Blasingame, Chuck Guillory, Bob Dahlem.
