Laney Lou Robinson Hogg, 96 of Van Buren, passed away Friday, February 24, 2012 in Alma.
She was a native of Crawford County, attended the First Presbyterian Church of Van Buren, a lifelong Democrat, a graduate from Van Buren High School in 1933 and a member of Pioneer Crawford County family. She was a noted Historian of Crawford County, a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy and Daughters of the American Revolution, a recipient of the Pioneer Heritage Award and a member of Crawford County Historical Society and the Genealogical Society and Questers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hogg.
She is survived by two sisters, Rosanna (Pill) Danciu of Van Buren and Thera Belle (Ootsie) Driver of Alma; One special caregiver & cousin, Lisa K. Robinson of Van Buren; seven nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Monday February 27th 2012 at 2:00pm
at Gracelawn Arbor,3003 Oak Lane, Van Buren, AR
Burial will be at Gracelawn Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Hopkins Jr., Hubert Blankenship, R.W. Ocker, Ross Robinson, Jack Danciu and Johnny Jack.
