August 25, 1905 - December 2, 1966
Fred D. "Freddie" Geoates, the son of William Alexander Goates and Georgia Ann "Annie" Sanders. He was born in Dover, Pope, Arkansas and died in Van Buren, Crawford, Arkansas. The cause of his death was that he was killed in a train accident. He was married to Ruby Smith on September 25, 1930 in Russellville, Pope, Arkansas . His siblings were: Sophia Goates, Sarah Elizabeth "Betty" Goates Wait, Johnie Geoates, Emmitt Elmer Geoates, and Pearlie Mae Geoates Cradduck.
