Dean Gaither, 73, of Alma, formerly of Henryetta, Okla., died Tuesday, June 6, 2000, at his home.
He retired from Arkhola Sand & Gravel as a plant supervisor after 31 years. He was a member of Van Buren Masonic Lodge No. 6 and Eastern Star and a member of Western Arkansas Scottish Rite in Fort Smith.
Funeral was in Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel of Van Buren. Masonic graveside service was at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Greeta; one daughter, Lori Hudson of Paris; two sons, Mike Gaither and Kenneth Maroney, both of Alma; three sisters, Patricia Fowler and Truda Beth Robinson, both of Salem, Ore., and Geraldine of Stafford, Texas; five brothers, Dale Gaither of Holbrook, Ariz., Leroy "Bud" Gaither of Dewar, Okla., Tom Gaither of Hot Springs, Jerry Bonham of Sugarland, Texas, and Kenneth Bonham of New Mexico.; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were J.C. Rider, Jeff White, Marvin Daily, John England, Chuck Pachl and Doug Kosier.
Honorary pallbearers were Arkhola employees and the Masons.

Greeta Jo Gaither, 79, of Alma died Tuesday, June 5, 2012, in her home.
She was born June 21, 1932, in Henryetta, Okla.
She was a retired LPN, a homemaker and the widow of Dean Gaither.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Ocker Chapel of Alma with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Michael Gaither of Alma; one stepdaughter, Lori Hudson of Paris; two sisters, Babe Traylor of Van Buren and Beverly Bowen of Tulsa; two brothers, John Donley of Cleburne, Texas, and J.B. Donley of Memphis; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy and Jordan Shores, Adam Randall, Bubba Bailey, Ken Colley, Mike Hudson and Rudy Winborn.
