Richard Leon Fritchey Sr., 71 of Liberty, Missouri passed away February 1, 2012 in his home.
He was born July 13, 1940 to Almer Joseph and Anna Belle Fritchey.
He graduated from Van Buren High School and attended the University of Arkansas where he was recruited out of school to work for AT&T. He later graduated from Park College. Richard loved God and was a faithful member of Liberty Assembly of God Church, servicing in many areas of ministry.
He was preceded in death by his father Almer Joseph Fritchey, mother Annabelle Fritchey; and a brother Stephen Edward Fritchey.
He is survived by his wife, Colene Fritchey of Liberty, Missouri, one daughter Cheryl Fritchey Reid of Van Buren; one son, Richard Fritchey and his wife, Michelle of Liberty, Missouri; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 4th 2012 at 11:00am at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren. Burial will be at Gracelawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Richard M. Fritchey, James Jones, Jacob Fritchey, Bruce Bircham, Dennis Jones, Jon Fritchey.
