Almer Joseph Fritchey, 86, of Van Buren, Arkansas died Monday, January 27, 2003, in his home. He was a retired minister of the Assemlies of God, a member of the National Republican Party and several civic organizations.

Funeral was held at 10 a. m. Thursday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren, Arkansas with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife; two sons; a sister; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers were ministers of the Assemblies of God Church.

Anna Belle Fritchey, 89, of Van Buren died Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, in a local hospital.

She was a member of Sunnyside Assembly of God. Mrs. Fritchey and her late husband were pastors of the 43 Assembly of God for over 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Fritchey, and a son, Stephen Edward Fritchey.

Funeral service was held Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, at Ocker Memorial Chapel with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.

She was survived by two sons, Jon Fritchey of Van Buren and Richard Fritchey of Liberty, Mo.; two sisters, Lorene Perry of Van Buren and Margie Herndon of Dora; six grandchildren, Cheryl Reid of Van Buren, Robin Speer of Houston, Heather Kinsey of Van Buren, Amy Fritchey of Fort Smith and Jacob Fritchey of Gans; three great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
