*Obituary
Eltha Beatrice Conley was born February 12, 1903 near Alma,
Crawford Co., AR. She was the 4th child and first daughter
born to Charles Willis Conley & Mary Jane (Wallace) Conley.
Growing up, she was very interested in school. She was a very good student. She liked to read, and also enjoyed sports. She was a good basketball player. She also enjoyed
cooking and liked to sew. She married Riley Samuel Foley on
December 26, 1926 in Crawford County, AR. This union produced (3) sons. The family lived in the Richland, Crawford Co., AR community for most of their married life.
Eltha became very ill in late November of 1936. She died on
November 24th in St. Edwards Hospital, Ft. Smith, AR from
complications of blood poisoning. She was only (33) years
old when she died.
