Martha Duncan, 101, of Van Buren passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013.
She was born June 10, 1912, in Sallisaw to the late Greene and Martha Jane Griffith.
She was an elementary school teacher in Roland and a member of City Heights Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Duncan.
She is survived by a son, Jerry Duncan and wife Dorothy of Van Buren; three grandchildren, Perry Duncan and wife Angel of Anchorage, Alaska, James Duncan and wife Karla of Fort Smith and Paul Duncan and wife Diana of Vancouver, Wash.; and six great-grandchildren, Eli, Rachel, Megan, Ryan, Seth and Kaylee Duncan.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with private burial to follow under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
