Wife of Joe Rudy Dotson
The funeral service for Mrs. Laura Dotson, 88 years old of 717 North 20 Street, Fort Smith was held at 2 p.m. Friday in Edwards Funeral Home chapel. Clifford Palmer, pastor of the Grand Avenue Baptist church, conducted the service. Burial was at Gracelawn cemetery.
Mrs. Dotson was born April 16, 1880 in Crawford county, the daughter of Sam and Ann Pruitt Baker and died Tuesday night, March 25, 1969 in a local hospital. She was the wife of Joe R. Dotson who died in 1945. She was a Baptist.
Survivors are four sons, four daughters, a brother, a sister, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
