Columbus - August 27, 1872 - June 22, 1948
Anice - July 24, 1878 - January 6, 1952
C. A. Fincher, aged 76, died at the home of his son, Floyd, in Camden Tuesday. He was well known here. He is also survived by his wife; two other sons, Roy of Lake Village, and Oather of Camden; two daughters, Mrs. Steve Marlar of Stamps, and Mrs. C. L. Butler of Quitman, La.; and a brother, H. A. Fincher of Texarkana; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Waldo Church of Christ at 2 p.m. today by Jack Hackworth, pastor of the Madison Street Church of Christ here. Burial was in Columbia county with active pallbearers being grandsons. Proctor mortuary was in charge. (Camden News - June 23, 1948)
