Raymond B. Dalton, 86, of Van Buren died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 13, 1918, in Spadra. He was a retired employee of Whirlpool, an Army veteran of World War II and was of the Assembly of God faith.
The body will be cremated under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Lida; two daughters, Wanda Hooley of Rudy and Darline Brewer of Van Buren; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Lida Rae "Doll" Dalton, 84, of Van Buren died Friday, May 5, 2006, in Fort Smith. She was born Feb. 15, 1922, in Clarksville, a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
The body was cremated under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
She is survived by two daughters, Wanda Hooley of Rudy and Darline Brewer of Van Buren; two sisters, Oramae of Rison and Violet of Amarillo, Texas; one brother, Otis Cameron of Costa Mesa, Calif.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
