Ervin Robert Craven 93, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 in a local hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He was born in San Antonio, Texas on May 4, 1922.

He was retired from Teamsters as a truck driver in California. After retirement he worked for Arkansas Valley Janitorial Service in lawn care part time for Trane Company in Fort Smith until he was in his eighties. He was a member of the North Congregation Jehovah's Witness in Fort Smith. He was baptized July, 5, 1942 at Rock Creek north of Mulberry, Arkansas along with 7 other family members. He served as an elder in the congregation for over 40 years.

Ervin and wife, Helen who passed away just 2 months earlier in October of this year were married for over 73 years. He will be remembered by his children and grandchildren as a strong, hardworking, and loving, spiritual man who loved his family unconditionally.

Survivors are his daughter, Patricia and husband Randy Faulkenberry of Fort Smith; two sons, Larry and his wife Marty Craven of Rudy, David Craven of Riverside, California; two sisters, Lanell Crowley of Enid, Oklahoma, Lucy Schneider and husband Gene of Olathe, Kansas; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 2 PM Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren, Arkansas with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Killian Cribbs, Wally Craven Dyer, Jon Spillers, Danny Crowley, Joe Adcock and John Higgins.

Helena Jane Craven, 88, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 at a local hospital.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jevohah's Witness in Fort Smith for over 50 years and she and Ervin were married for over 73 years. She will be remembered by her children and grandchildren as a strong, loving, caring woman. She loved her family unconditionally and was a great cook.

Funeral service will be at 2 PM Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Survivors are her husband Ervin of the home; daughter Patricia Faulkenberry of Fort Smith; two sons Larry R. Craven of Rudy and David M. Craven of Riverside, California; two sisters, Irene Floyd of Fort Smith and Wilma Hill of Van Buren; a brother Ralph Ohm of Fort Smith; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Michael Craven, Rodney Hardy, Timothy Hardy, Killian Cribbs, Wyatt Staehling, Jon Spillers, Joe Adcock and John Higgins.
