Mildred June Hicks, 80, of Pea Ridge, died July 5, 2020, in McDonald County Living Center in Anderson, Mo. She was born June 7, 1940, in Garfield to Lafe Maloney and Eliza Elizabeth Huffman Maloney.
She was a lifelong native of the area and retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed reading and studying her Bible. She also loved crocheting and doing word find games.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William, John, Mike, Lawrence, Floyd, Pat and J.L. Maloney; a sister, Dorothy Barr; and two grandchildren, Cameron Bridges and Seth Hicks.
Survivors are two sons, Steve Hicks and wife Susan of Pea Ridge and John Hicks and wife Tracy of Pea Ridge; a daughter, Susan Lea of Bella Vista; siblings, Cisco Maloney of Seligman, Mo., and Mary Jane Adkins of Mt. Home; grandchildren, Shaetel and Chad Wilkerson, Brittnee Cypert, Ethan and Autumn Hicks; and four great-grandchildren.
There was no visitation.
A graveside service was held 10 a.m. Friday, July 10, in Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield.
Arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
