Nancy Morrison Cook, 43, of Fort Smith died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000, in Fort Smith. She was a paramedic for Sebastian County EMS. She was a production medic, a Taekwondo instructor with a black belt, a recipient of the Certificate of Achievement, Sebastian County Deputy Coroner, a member of Sebastian County EMS Rescue, the Tactical EMS-Fort Smith SWAT and the Sebastian County EMS Dive team. She was certified in advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support and a certified open water diver.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Edwards Funeral Home
Chapel in Fort Smith. The body will be cremated.
She is survived by her companion, Kirk Barber of Fort Smith; her mother, Merlene Morrison of Fort Smith; three sisters, Marie Evans, Karen Rouse and Teja Lonetree all of Fort Smith; and two brothers, Rick Morrison of Louisiana and Michael Morrison of Fort Smith.
