Patsy Faubus Brown Buttress of Van Buren died May 5, 2011 at her daughter's home in Rudy.
She was born May 13, 1939 in Combs, Arkansas where her siblings attended the Greenwood School at Greasy Creek. Who were taught by her cousin, the late Governor Orville Faubus; a heritage of which she was proud to talk about.

She was retired from MT. Vista Laundry in Van Buren and a member of Living Word Church of Van Buren, where she grew closer to her savior these last few years.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Connie Robert Brown Jr & Harlan Buttress, her parents, Bill Faubus and Audie Smith Faubus Hall and a newborn son, Connie Robert Brown Jr II; three sister, Opal Mae Faubus, Edna Sparks & Mary Ellen Jacobs; three brothers, Danny, Elmer & Olan Faubus.

She is survived by three daughters, LaDonna (Brown) Brewer of Van Buren, Tammy Brown of Greenville, MS and Katie Joann Buttress of Rudy; Eight granddaughters, Chasity Bell & Candy Hemminger both of Rudy, Mandy Gregory of Alma, Audrey Hodges of Van Buren, Jessica Randolph of Hernando, MS, Vanessa Randolph of Tulsa, OK, Janae' Keith of Greenville, MS,; two great grandsons, Omri Hodges of Van Buren & Parker Randolph of Hernando, MS.; one sister, Connie Garner & husband, Jim of Van Buren; one brother, Noah Faubus & wife, Freda of Van Buren.
