Kenneth "Ken" Bryant, 81, of Van Buren passed away on Friday, May 11, 2012, at a local hospital in Fort Smith.
He was born Jan. 10, 1931, in Formosa to John and Irene Bryant.

He was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Kibler.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Francis Prince; and a brother, James Bryant.

Mr. Bryant's professional career included military national defense contracts with I.T.T. Gilfillin and Conrac Corp. in Southern California, accounting for corporate affairs with Western Lead Corp. in Southern California, owner and operator of Cleburne County Furniture Co. in Heber Springs and retired as city business manager for the city of Fort Smith. He was closely involved with various civic organizations through the years and enjoyed many hobbies from metal detecting to Razorback and professional sports.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nadine Bryant of the home; two sons, Ralph Bryant of Mountainburg and Phillip Bryant of Van Buren; a former daughter-in-law, Keli Jones; a daughter-in-law-to-be Stacy Horton Bell; three brothers, Eldon Bryant, Joe Bryant and Bobby Bryant; two sisters, Anita Melton and Sharon French; five grandsons, Kenny Lee Bryant, Benjamin Bryant, Zakery Bryant, Randy Bryant and Dalton Bryant; two granddaughters, Niki Willbourn and Kady Chandler; and six great-grandchildren, Hali, Emily, Johna, Chance, Alyssa and Addyson.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Bryant, Benjamin Bryant, Zakery Bryant, Randy Bryant, Jim Price and Jonathan Willbourn.

Nadine Bryant, 86, of Van Buren passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020, at a local hospital.

She was a veterinarian assistant at Ozark Animal Hospital and a member of Church of Christ in Van Buren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Agnes (Woodard) Williams; a sister, Marion Bryant; and a brother, Floyd Williams Jr.

She is survived by two sons, Ralph and Philip Bryant, both of Van Buren; two sisters, Ruth Ishman and Eula Ledbetter, both of Morrilton; three brothers, Sturl and Don Williams, both of Morrilton, and Roger Williams of Heber Springs; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Bryant, Benjamin Bryant, Randy Bryant, Dalton Bryant, Rick Jones and Jim Tollison.
