*Obituary
Clyde V. Brooks, 80 years old of 1511 Popular, Van Buren, Arkansas, died Friday, September 15, 1967 in a local hospital following a long illness. A retired carpenter, Mr. Brooks had been a resident of Van Buren for ten years and was formerly of Cottage Grove, Oregon. He was a member of First Assembly of God church.
Survivors are a brother and sister, Grace, both of the home; a niece, Mrs. Lutz of Route 1, Van Buren.
The funeral service was held in Ocker Funeral Home chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday. Edwin Burris pastor of First Assembly of God officiated. Burial was in Gracelawn cemetery.
