Services for Joe Brammer, 81 year old retired Rudy farmer and factory worker, were scheduled for Friday at 10 a.m. at the Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Crowder and the Rev. Rupert Pixley officiating. Burial was at Gracelawn Cemetery.

Mr. Brammer died Tuesda at a local nursing home. He was a lifelong resident of the Rudy area, and a member of the Oliver Springs Freewill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter; two sons; and two sisters.

*Obituary
Amandia Juanita Brammer, 89, of Van Buren, formerly of Rudy, died Sunday, March 25, 2001, in her home. She was a homemaker, and a Free Will Baptist and a lifetime resident of Crawford County. She was the widow of Joseph Newton Brammer.

Funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clay and Sophronia Dretha Bowman; two brothers, Noah and Henry Bowman, and three sisters, Dretha Bowman, Almeida Vandiver and Betty Carney.

She is survived by one daughter, two sons, four sisters, one brother, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
