Kenneth Dale Bogard, 90 of Union Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2019.

He was a master mechanic for the railroad and a member of the Church of Christ in both Van Buren, Arkansas and Fenton, Missouri, having served in various capacities. He was a Corporal in the U.S. Army having served in WWII receiving the victory metal and Army Occupational metal.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred, and all his brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be 12:00 (Noon), Friday July 19, 2019 with military honors at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by one daughter Glenda Starek of Fenton, Missouri; two grandchildren Kai and Gage Starek both of Fenton, Missouri; several nieces and nephews.

January 8, 1926 - November 9, 2004

Mildred O. Bogard of Union, Missouri was born on January 8, 1926 in Fort Smith, Arkansas the daughter of the late Dewey John Ray and his wife, Mae Thelma Ray (nee) Shreckengaust. She passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2004 in Union, Missouri at the age of 78 years. She received his schooling in Van Buren, AR. On November 13, 1950 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Bogard in Chicago, Illinois. The couple moved to Union, MO in 1998. Mrs. Bogard was a member of the Church of Christ in Union, MO. She was preceded in death by one sister and five brothers.

She is survived by her husband: Kenneth Bogard of Union, MO, one daughter: Glenda Starek and husband, Gregory, of Fenton, MO, two grandchildren: Kai and Gage Starek of Fenton, MO; three sisters: Allene Peterson; Norma Brausell , Polly Bryant, and her husband Bobby; and four brothers: Artie Ray, and his wife, Velma; Richard Ray, and his wife, Martha; Emil Ray, and his wife, Barbara, all of Van Buren Arkansas and Jerry Ray, of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Many other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service was held on Monday , November 15, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the Oltmann Funeral Home in Union, MO with Hugh Mc Nary officiating . Interment in the Grace Lawn Cemetery in Van Buren, AR.
