William Floyd Boen, 88, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in Van Buren.
He was born January 12, 1926 in Boxley, AR to the late Lum and Ruby Boen.

He was a farmer, and attended Sunnyside Assembly of God.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna "Sue" Boen, and a daughter, Joyce Beckham.

He is survived by one daughter, three sons, one sister, seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Black, Steven Black, Jason Boen, Joel Boen, Nathan Boen, and Charles Henson. Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Dumond, Eddie Black, Eric Black, and Donnie Chronister.

Anna Faye "Sue" Boen, 65, of Van Buren died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002, in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker and attended the Sunnyside Assembly of God Church in Van Buren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Beckham. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren. She is survived by her husband, Floyd; a daughter, Lola Black of Van Buren; three sons, William and Mark Boen, both of Van Buren, and Jack Boen of Alma; her stepfather, Joe Belt of Van Buren; a brother, Jessie Hobbs of Tehachapi, Calif.; and nine grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jeff, Steven and Eric Black, Eddie Don Black, Jason, Nathan and Joel Boen and Josh Pearson. Times Record Online
