Daniel “Dan” David Spades, 75 of Smithville, died June 11, 2022, at his residence.

Born September 3, 1946, in Walnut Ridge, son of the late, Sebastian A. Spades Jr. and Alta Lorene Nunnally Spades. He was an Army Veteran serving in Vietnam, owner and operator of Dan Spades Refrigeration. He enjoyed tinkering with things and working on machines. He collected Camera’s, old antique Iron’s, and any and all types of Eagles. He was active in his community and a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Lynn.

He is preceded by his parents; two sons, Charles Nunnally and Randy Spades; and two brothers, Richard, and Joe Spades.

Survivors include his daughter, Danielle “Dee Dee” Sanders of Paragould; three grandchildren, Haley Sanders, Will, and Savanah Spades; one sister, Barbara Spades Kelly of Paragould; one brother, John Spades of Florida; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 2 P.M. in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Lynn. Private interment of his cremains will take place at a later date in the Old Lebanon Cemetery.
