Joe T. Alexander, 83 of Van Buren passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 in a local nursing home.
He was Owner and Operator of Alexander’s Plumbing Company. He was a member of the Impact Church in Alma.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Isaac Alexander and Rosa (Brown) Alexander; five sisters, Frances Muller, Jerri Wiedner, Nadine White, Ann Kelly and Lillian Oliver; a brother I.N. Alexander.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Ruth Alexander of the home; two daughters Diane King and husband Randy, Denise Hanna all of Van Buren; two sons Joe T. Alexander, Jr. and wife Kim, Michael Alexander and wife Jamie both of Van Buren; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1 PM Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Ocker Memorial Chapel with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be James Meinardus, Dennis Osman, Caleb Osman, Kevin McAllister, Mark Kelly and T.J. Siebert.

Wanda Ruth Alexander, 83, of Van Buren passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 at a local nursing home.
She was a homemaker and a member of Impact Church of Alma.
She was born August 16, 1938 in Mountainburg, AR to the late Doyle Raphe and Bonnie Lee (Morgan) McAllister.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe T. Alexander; daughter, Debbie and a brother, Norman McAllister.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday, February 11, 2022 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with interment at Gracelawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Survivors include daughters, Diane King and Denise Hanna both of Van Buren; sons, Joe T. Alexander, Jr. and Michael Alexander; brother, Paul McAllister of Mountainburg; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be James Meinardus, Mark Kelly, Caleb Osman, Dennis Osman, Dillon Alexander and Cadence Freeman.
