Fred Clarence Williams was born July 16, 1903 to John and Ada Williams in Van Buren, Arkansas. He received his early education in the Van Buren School system. Later he attended College in Quindaro, Kansas. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church at an early age where he has remained thoughout his life. He was a faithful and loyal member to his church. He was honored for the longest tenure of employment for an employee with the same company. Giving 70 years of dedicated service to Ward's Ice and Storage Company. He died on July 29, 1985 in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Mary Louise Williams was born June 23, 1915, in Van Buren, Arkansas, to the late John B. Johnson and Katie Johnson. She was educated in Van Buren and Fort Smith, Arkansas, attending Douglas Elementary and High School and Lincoln High School. She was a member of the Derrick Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Van Buren, were she had remained a faitful and devoted member. She was married to Fred Clarence Williams. Her undying devotion to her church included being a steward and hold the positions of President and Secretary of the Missionary Society for over forty years. She was also very well known to Ft Smith and North Little Rock's Missionary District. She was honored with a "Lifetime Membership" in the Arkansas Missionary Society. She was a member of the Royal Society; the founder of the Interdenominational Monthly Birthday Club, a member of the McGill Senior Citizens Group. She was one of Mayor Ray Baker's Angels. One of the highlights in her life was when she received her certification for Home Health Care Provider. She became gainfully employed for several years with the Area Agency on Aging. She earned several outstanding achievement awards. She was preceded in death by her husband,her brothers, her two daughters and her son.
