James W. Stone, 75 of Van Buren passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 in a local hospital.
He was a pipe fitter for Capco in Van Buren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (DeWitt) Stone; one daughter; four sons; one grandson; both parents; one sister and four brothers.
Graveside service will be at 10 AM Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Fairview Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
He is survived by his daughter, Brenda D’Amico and husband, Joseph of Van Buren; two sons, Tommy Stone of Tucker, AR, Toby Stone and wife, Kim of Athens, AL; four sisters; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Barbara Ann Stone, 67, of Van Buren, was born January 27, 1945 to Thomas Lee and Elsie May Warren DeWitt.
She passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 in a local hospital.
She was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elsie May Warren DeWitt and Thomas Lee DeWitt, two sons and one grandson.
Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, March 5 at Fairview Cemetery in Van Buren with burial at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral home.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James; three sons, George Stone of Van Buren, Toby Stone and wife Kim of Decatur, Ala. and Tommy Stone of Grady; one daughter, Brenda Damico and husband Joseph of Van Buren; a daughter-in-law, April Stone of Van Buren; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She had at least 16 known siblings. They are all deceased except 2. They are Anna Faye DeWitt Dennis and Edward DeWitt who was adopted and became Edward Dukes. Six of her siblings were half, but 10 were full siblings and all were Thomas Lee DeWitt's.
