Wife of Dr Henri Charles Etienne Pernot
Emilie Anne Sargent Pernot was born in Illinois in 1829 to Dr.Ichabod and Anstes Brown Sargent.

She passed from this life in 1904 at Van Buren, Arkansas.

She was a descendant of Josiah Bartlett, signer of the Declaration of Independence.

She married Dr. Henri C. Pernot in 1851 in St. Genevieve, Missouri. They moved to Van Buren, Arkansas in 1852. From this union came four children; Emilie, wife of Rev. James Matthews, Episcopal minister in Mexico, Missouri; Henry C., Ichabod and Sidney A. Pernot.
