*Obituary
Miss Mabel Morelock, 52 years old a Fort Smith, Arkansas school teacher, died Tuesday night at her home, 606 North 22nd Street.
Born in Van Buren, Arkansas, Miss Morelock was a lifelong resident of this vicinity. She was a member of the First Methodist church, the Lydian Sunday school class, Delta Kappa Gamma sorority and the Fort Smith Teachers Club.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. L. Morelock; one brother Henry Morelock, Mulberry; one niece, Mrs. Vera Clark, Muskogee, four nephews, Edward Morelock, Mulberry, Edgar and Frederick Morelock of California, Julian Lark of California.
Funeral service was held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in Fentress Mortuary chapel with Dr. Fred G. Roebuck officiating.
Interment was in Fairview cemetery, Van Buren, Arkansas.
