February 18, 1923 - February 27, 1968
Eldridge (Bo) Burchfield, 45, of McNeil, died Tuesday morning at his residence. Mr. Burchfield was born Feb. 18, 1923 in Idabel, Okla., and was the son of Thomas C. and Molly Yocom Burchfield. He was a member of the McNeil Methodist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Imogene Burchfield of McNeil; a daughter, Miss Barbara Jean Burchfield of the home; a brother, Warren Burchfield, of Smackover; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Godwin and Mrs. Clara Langley, both of Magnolia, and Mrs. Ruth Emerson of McKamie, Ark. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Norphlet Methodist Church with the Rev. James Ford, Rev. James Sewell and Rev. Myron Pearce officiating. Burial will follow in Rehobeth Cemetery under direction of Pratt Funeral Home. Active pallbearers will be Louis Pyle, Franklin Gunter, Agee Crumpler, Ose Faulk, Porter Morris, Boyce Bailey, Jack Glascock and Travis Rowe. Honorary pallbearers will be employes of McAlister Fuel Oil Co. The body was taken to the Burchfield residence in McNeil Tuesday afternoon and will remain there until time for final rites.
