Eudora Elvira Rose Knox was born March 25,1818 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Horace Bordman Rose and Elvira Percival Rose.

She departed this life November 17, 1901.

Eudora was the widow of George W. Knox.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter.

On May 12, 1842 Eudora married George Washington Knox in Little Rock, Arkansas.
The newly married couple moved to Knox Plantation located in what is today Barling, Arkansas. It was at Knox Plantation, on February 14, 1843 that their first child was born, a daughter named Fannie Rose Knox (Thomason). Shortly after the birth, the family moved to Van Buren to what is now 19 Fayetteville Street.
She was the mother of three more daughters, Georgia Lydia Knox Faber, Eudora Percival Knox Lincoln and Martha Washington Knox Hayman.

The family was involved in business, church and the social life of town.
