She was born to the late Maria Flores Guzman, and Ygnacio Guzman on June 1, 1932 in Santa Ana, California. Amalia resided in California, Arkansas, and in New Mexico. She was a dedicated mom, enthusiastic club member, whose landscaping hobby produced an oasis for a back yard. Known by many as "Molly", and by her beautiful smile, many hearts will never be the same. She will be missed.
Amalia is survived by two daughters, Amalia "Diane" Smith, of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and Cecilia Flores, of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jeffrey Smith, Rachel Smith, and Stephen Smith; as well as three great-grandchildren, Adriana Smith, Teresa Smith, and Daniel Smith, all of Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
Friends may visit one hour prior to the Funeral Service on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Lomas.
