Josephine W. Whittlesey Gann , 79, of Van Buren died Friday in a Van Buren nursing home.
She was born September 30, 1908 in Van Buren to Jacob and Pearl Farrow Whittlesey.
She was a retired employee of the First National Bank of Fort Smith, a member of Wood memorial Christian Church, a lifelong resident of Van Buren.
She was the widow of the late Gene Gann.
She was survived by three sisters, Addie Gill of Baton Rouge, La., Margaret Clattenbuck of San Jose, California, and Phoebe Whittlesey of Van Buren; and six nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in Ocker Funeral Home with burial at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbears were Chet Kozal, Les Long, Leonard Franklin, Carl Bruns, Delbert Love and Denny Howard.
