Mary Luella Spencer was born December 10, 1858 in Sullivan, Indiana to James Thomas and Sarah Jane Morgan Spencer.

The family relocated to Indian Territory in 1874 when she was 16 years old.

On October 8, 1878 she married Willard Rufus Ayers in Sebastian County, Arkansas.
Willard Ayers was a Deputy U.S. Marshal under Judge Parker 1871-1880 -he was killed in the line of duty. Emanuel Patterson - Killed Willard Ayers. Patterson was a fugitive 6 yrs until tracked down by Heck Thomas & served a life sentence.

Mollie was expecting her first child, Willie Ardie Ayers when her husband was killed.

On October 11, 1883 in Crawford County, Arkansas she married William Arthur Bolling Davenport. To this union was born two sons; William Marvin and Charles Bolling Davenport.

Her Husband, William died of consumption on January 28, 1887, Mollie was pregnant with her son, Charles Davenport.

On February 9, 1892 She married again, to James Theodore Dean in Crawford County.
They had a son and two daughters; James Clyde, Mary Edith and Mae Rena Dean.
Her husband, James passed away in 1929.

On Octber 27, 1943 she was living with her youngest daughter, Mae Rena & family at time of her death. She developed an infection that ultimately took her life.
She was returned to Van Buren for burial at Fairview Cemetery.
