Mary Frances Clayabaugh was born January 5, 1911 to Clyde and Nellie Lobdill in Van Buren. She died Thursday, March 17, 2005, in Dallas, Arkansas. She was raised in Van Buren and in 1930 married Herbert W. Clalybaugh, a civil engineer for the Arkansas Corps of Engineers. He preceded her in death in 1986.
Mary lived in Dallas for most of her adult life and enjoyed filling her days with music concerts, playing her piano and tending her garden.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her daughter, and her grandson, invited anyone who knew Mary to her memorial service which was held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2005 at Fairview Cemetery located in Van Buren. A reception was held after the interment.
