June 3, 1927 - November 27, 2009
Carl Mason Canada, 82, of Van Buren died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, in a local hospital. He was born June 3, 1927, in Malvern. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Weyerhaeuser, an Air Force veteran serving in World War II and a member of New Life Pentecostal Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reubon and Lena Canada.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Canada of the home; a daughter, Susan Taylor of Greenwood; three sons, Jimmy Canada of Shreveport, La., Wayne Canada of Greenwood and Billy Canada of Noel, Mo.; one sister, Oneta of Malvern; one brother, Floyd Keisler of Benton; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, at New Life Pentecostal Church of God in Van Buren with a private family burial under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
