Tracy Lynn Powell Alardin, age 48, of Royal, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Tracy was born on February 22, 1964, the daughter of Dedrick Lee Powell and TWana Grisham Powell. She was preceded in death by her father; paternal grandparents, Elbert and Devia Powell; and maternal grandparents, Willard and Dodie Grisham. She was a member of the Royal Baptist Church. She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. Tracy will be missed by her family and all who knew her. Tracy had a wonderful heart when it came to her pets, anyone that loves their pets would understand the friendship that she had with her dogs, Crazy Jane, Friend Bear and Midget. She also adored her many cats that depended on her to take special care of them. She is survived by her mother, TWana Powell, her brother and sister-in-law, Philip "Greg" and Peggy Powell and her nephew, James Nathan Powell, all of Royal; and special friends and her pets. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 24, 2012 in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Bro. George Lynch officiating under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs. Honorary pallbearers will be Angie Ross, Tina Fletcher, Kim Grisham, Evon Gill, Mavi Gonzalez and Carolyn Shepard. Donations may be made in Tracy's honor to the Humane Society, P. O. Box 1484, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71902 or to Paws and Claws Rescue, P. O. Box 20254, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71903. Guest registry is at davis-smith.com.
