Wife of Joseph Real Brown Sr
Lucy Houston Brown was born in 1858 to Col. John Stroud Houston and Elizabeth Mary Howell of Clarksville.
She married Joseph Real Brown in December of 1878 and by whom she had four children, Lucie Byrd Brown Bruun, Howell Houston Brown MD, Joseph Real Brown Jr.
Vivian died at the age of one year, and another child died in infancy, unnamed.
Mr. and Mrs.Brown were members of the Methodist Episcopal Church South.
