December 2, 1948 - September 16, 2019
James Devon “Jimmy” Johnson, 70, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away September 16, 2019. He was born December 2, 1948, in Mountain Pine to Devon and Beverly Johnson. Jimmy graduated from Mountain Pine and attended Henderson before being employed by Weyerhaeuser for 36 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Joey, Jerry, Johnny, and Jackie.
Survivors include his loving wife of 18 years, Lin; sister, Mandy Johnson; several nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and his pup, Trish.
Jimmy enjoyed playing poker, traveling, tennis, canoeing, rafting, and reading. He had a love for animals.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Thompson officiating.
Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Ryan Walker, David Ross, Kevin Johnson, Danny Dodge, Guy Silva, and Jim Blackwood.
