BELLA VISTA — Paul William Riley, 90, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011 at Circle of Life Hospice at Legacy Village, Bentonville, Ark. He was born on April 17, 1921, in Newark, N.J., to William Paul Riley and Catherine (Gerber) Riley.

He served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II, receiving a Purple Heart. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and St. Bernard Men's Club. He was a member of the VFW, Purple Heart Association, 18 Hole Golf Group and Riley Friday Golf Group.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Jean (Hatrick) Riley; two brothers, Frank Riley and Jack Riley; and one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine R. Riley of Bella Vista, Ark.; daughters, Jane Ellen Cathey and husband, Kenneth of Kingston, Okla., Lynn Youngblood and husband, Russell of Stillwater, Okla., Kaye Bock and husband, Ralph of St. Louis, Mo.; sons, Steven Vincent and wife, Joan of St. Cloud, Minn., and David Vincent and wife, Audrey of Red Wing, Minn.; three sisters, Dorothea Conduzzi of Toms River, N.J., Rosemary Rolnec of Naples, Fla., Eleanor Parts of Conroe, Texas; two grandchildren, Jennifer Leuthauser and husband, Chris, and Kimberly Cathey; three great-grandchildren, Katie and Ryan Leuthauser and Zoe Cathey; five step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, at St. Bernard Catholic Church with a Rosary being recited at 9:30 a.m. Military honors to be presented by the Bella Vista Veterans Honor Guard. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Bernard Catholic Church, Endowment Fund, One St. Bernard Lane, Bella Vista, AR 72715 or to Circle of life Hospice Legacy Village, 900 N. Verdant, Bentonville, AR 72712.
