Joyce H. Jensen, 87, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away December 31, 2014. She was born February 18, 1927 in Laurel, Mississippi to the late U.D. and Martha (Mullican) Hilton. Joyce was a charter member of Hot Springs Baptist Church. She taught Kindergarten and enjoyed sewing, quilting, needlepoint, and painting. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Jensen. Survivors include sons, Mike Jensen (Sharron), John Jensen (Terri); sister, Frances Lighty; brother, Jack Hilton; grandchildren, Brent Jensen, Stefanie Earnheart, Amanda Jensen, Alycia McInroe, Ashley McClard; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Caitlyn, Cassidy, Madison, Reagan, Caleb, Dayton, Shelby, Maci, Presley, Bryce and Palmer. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Smith and Bro. Manley Beasley officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers include Rick Grisham, Greg Jones, Corey Capshaw, Brandon McInroe, Brent Jensen, and Michael Earnhart. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Tim English, the Nursing Staff at National Park Medical Center, and Joyce’s Hot Springs Baptist Church Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hot Springs Baptist Church Building Fund.
