Sarah Anne David, 72, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away June 23, 2021. She was born May 28, 1949, in Hot Springs to James Harold and Vesta Louise (Montgomery) Smith.

Sarah was an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her grandchildren, and playing the bells at church. Sarah taught for 32 years at Lake Hamilton School District. After retirement she worked as a realtor for Lake Hamilton Realty.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Terrill David; brothers, Andy Smith, Jimmy Smith; and sister, Sue Cox.

Survivors include her son, Shane David (Jennifer); daughter, Teresa Norton (Tommy); brother, Kelly Smith (Debbie Twehous); grandchildren, Aaron Norton, Kelsey David, Allison Norton, Ethan David; mother-in-law, Ada Carr; sisters-in-law, Lee Palmer (C.O.), Susan David (Robert Swaim), Gequeta David, Linda Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Caruth-Hale Life Celebration Center, 2529 Airport Road. A celebration of Sarah’s life will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Caruth-Hale Life Celebration Center, 2529 Airport Road, with Rev. Chip Hatcher officiating.

Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
