August 14, 1882 - January 20, 1962
Sammie Banks was the daughter of the Late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel King. She married the late Louis S. Banks in 1902 and had 5 children. She joined Mt. Olive Methodist Church and there remained until her death Jan 20, 1962.

MRS. SAMMIE BANKS
Services for Mrs. Sammie Banks, age 79, was held Thursday January 25, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olive Methodist Church.
Mrs. Banks died Saturday January 20, at her home, 1109 Chestnut Street after a brief illness. She had lived in Van Buren all her life.
Survivors included two daughters, one brother, one sister, two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of Rowell Funeral Home. Burial at Fairview Cemetery in Van Buren.
