Wallace Michael Balazic, 72, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 in Springfield, MO.
He was born May 16, 1948 in Montana to Martin and Sazy Balazic.
He was a retired transportation accounts manager and owner of WMB Transportation. Mike was a member of First Baptist Church Alma, and a member of The Gideons International Van Buren camp.
Mike was preceded in death by his first wife, Darlene; a daughter, Mindy Jensen; his parents; a brother, Eldon Shuffield; and a grandson, Robert Michael Nolen.
He is survived by his wife, Becky (Sims) Balazic of the home; two daughters, Monica Nolen and husband Chris of Fayetteville, and Mallory Toothaker and husband Mark of Frankfort, KY; a stepdaughter, Debbie Seiter and husband Jerry of Fort Smith; a brother, Dale Balazic and wife Clara of Alma; seven grandchildren, Taylor Nolen, Alexis Alexander, Hunter Balazic, Ashley Seiter, Ethan Alexander, Reagan Toothaker, and Luke Michael Toothaker; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at First Baptist Church Alma with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be his seven grandchildren.

Darlene Balazic, 50, of Van Buren died Wednesday, Jan, 17, 2001, at her home.
She was a member of Mountainburg Presbyterian Church and owner/operator of Darlene's Salon.
Survivors include her husband, Mike; three daughters, Monica Nolen of Fayetteville, Mindy Alexander of Fort Smith and Mallory Toothaker of Van Buren; one sister, Linda Smith Palmer of Richmond, Texas; two brothers, Billy Smith of Fort Smith and Robert Gene Smith of Rock Island, Ark,; and six grandchildren, Taylor and Robert Nolen, Alexis and Ethan Alexander, Hunter Balazic and Reagan Toothaker.
Funeral service was held Jan. 20 at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Stanley Burkhart, Roger Parker, Jim Pogue, Danny Cochran, Roy Gene Cochran, Dale Balazic, Bobby Wofford and Ed Scheumack.
