John C. Tuskey, age 75, of Hot Springs, passed away, Tuesday, November 9, 2021.

He was born on January 26, 1946, in Elmhurst, Illinois, the son of Joseph Tuskey and June Erdmann. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Thomas Tuskey; and one son-in-law, David Thorne.

John was a Christian in his faith and a United States Army Veteran. He worked for many years as a maintenance tech for Rexnord Bearing Corp in Downers Grove, Illinois before retiring. He was a very hard-working man who provided well for his family. John loved to attend dinner theaters. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved his family with all his heart and will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Tuskey of Hot Springs; his son, Matthew Tuskey of Wisconsin; three daughters and one son-in-law, Tabatha Tuskey of Hot Springs, Tonja and Buddy Horowitz of Pearcy and Ashley Tuskey of North Carolina; thirteen grandchildren, Miranda Hendricks, Tyler Tuskey, Amber Davis, Crystal Tuskey, John Larisey, Amy Lamb, Ryan Horowitz, Zach Horowitz, Laiken Horowitz, Adianna Matthews, Jeremy McCoy, Jr., Quinten McCoy and Melody McCoy; thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Sharon Erdmann of Indiana and Joseph and Linda Tuskey of Illinois; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 17, 2021, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.

Interment in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Tuskey, Derrike Hendericks, Curtis Masa, John Larisey, Michael Lamb and Zach Horowitz.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Disabled Veterans of America in his honor.
