Norma Alexander, 79, of Van Buren died Friday, Nov. 15, 2002, in a local hospital.
She was a homemaker, a long time resident of Van Buren and a member of Pioneer Crawford County family.
She was the widow of the late Edward C. Alexander and a member of Heritage United Methodist Church.
Funeral was 10 a.m. Monday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Fairview Cemetery.
She is survived by three sons, Gary Ted Alexander of Springfield, Ill., Douglas Garfield Alexander of Lexington, Ky., and David Nelson Alexander of Van Buren; a
sister, Sibyle Ervin of Joplin, Mo.; a brother, David Hicks of Fort Smith; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Morgan, Geoffrey,
Hill, and Gentry Alexander, Phillip Morton, Daniel Rupp, Brooks Hicks and Jack Erwin.
