MONT G. DEAN
Mont G. Dean, Rt 2 Alma, Arkansas whose seventy-fourth birthday anniversary was April 9, died Friday, Aprill 12, 1963.
Mr. Dean was a widely known orchardist; a member and elder of the Alma Presbyterian Church, and a World War One veteran. He was the son of the late H. P. and Matilda Jane Williams Dean. His grandparents came to the Dean Springs area soon after the Civil War.
The funeral service was held Monday morning in the Alma Presbyterian Church. Rev. Paul Mennenoeh, pastor emertius, preached the funeral sermon.
The body was taken by Ocker Funeral Home to the Dean family Cemetery in the Dean Springs community for burial.
His eight nephews carried the casket.
