Cathey L. Shores, 73, of Alma died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, at a local nursing home. He was a member of the Freedom Freewill Baptist Church. He was born March 25, 1933, in Alma to the late Willie and Maude Johnson Shores.
He is survived by one brother, Hobert Shores of Alma and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral was held Nov. 21 at Freedom Freewill Baptist Church with burial at Gregory Cemetery in Alma under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Pallbearers were Andrew, Daniel, Jordan and Matthew Shores, Jimmy Davis and Oliver Lozano.
