Stewart Leon Sargent III passed away in his home in Cedarville on Sunday, May 9, 2010. He was above and beyond the best father a child could ask for. His daughter was his life. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ellen Jacobs.
He is survived by his beautiful 4-year-old daughter, Alyssia Sargent of Cedarville; his grandparents, Billy Von Jacobs of Cedarville, Bonnie and Layton Davis of Van Buren and Stewart Leon Sargent Sr. of Van Buren; his parents, Stewart Leon Sargent Jr. of Van Buren and Mary and Mike Spencer of Cedarville; two brothers, Jason Sargent of Cedarville and Michael Spencer of Fayetteville; two sisters, Faira Sargent and Lori Rompf, both of Van Buren; three nieces who adored their "Uncle Tu'Tu," Promiss, Piper and Priden Sargent, all of Cedarville; as well as many, many cousins and even more friends. He will be greatly missed by us all.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Cedarville Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Matt Nowatney and the Rev. Ronnie Mayfield with burial at Salem Cemetery in Cedarville under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Harrison, John Miller, Matt Bennett, Jason Dunn, Steven Cox, Layton Davis Jr. and Randy Davis.
