December 17, 1882 - April 1, 1966
Mrs. Jack (Allie) Anders, 83, of Camden, died in a local hospital Friday night. She is survived by three sons, Ellord, Willard and Leo Anders of Camden; two daughters, Mrs. I. W. Haynie of Camden, and Mrs. Smead Wright of Conway; one brother, Burl Pennington of Shreveport; four sisters, Mrs. Ben Morgan of Shreveport; Mrs. Jim Pumphry, Mrs. Joe Corent and Mrs. Myrtle Nance, all of California; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Anders was a Baptist, and had lived in Camden since an early age. She was a native of Alabama. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday in the Proctor Funeral Service Chapel, with burial in Memorial Park cemetery. (Camden News - April 2, 1966)
