Reuben McKinley Myers Jr., 75, of Magazine, formerly of Van Buren, died Friday, May 30, 2003, in his home. He was a former employee of Goff Moving and Storage and a graduate and hall of fame member of the Arkansas School for the Deaf. He was of the Baptist faith. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Salem Cemetery near Cedarville. He is survived by five daughters, B.J. Cotner of Van Buren, Sandi Madairy of Wichita, Kan., Kay Crabtree of Seminole, Okla., and Amy and Micki Shelton, both of Magazine; four stepdaughters, Fannie Hesson of Van Buren, Valarie Harness of Mulberry and Toni Lee and Rhonda Hays, both of Ozark; two sisters, Maudine Lindsey and Berniece King, both of Van Buren; two brothers, Ted Myers of Van Buren and James Myers of Greenwood; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be his nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons. The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Times Record Online
